Internship & Volunteers

College students and young professionals interested in an enriching experience in arts administration and production, and in integration of arts in education for special and mainstream education, can participate in a non-paid internship for any period mutually agreed upon.  Our company will coordinate and comply with any university, institution or corporation requirements, so the intern can obtain any credits approved by the institution.  Interns will have first hand experience in conference coordination, workshop organization and support, artistic productions, arts in education training program and school programs, proposal writing, translation, public relations, media planning and technology development in advertisements, websites, social networks, graphic arts and accessibility for all in different contexts.  Interns must be older than 18 years old.

Volunteers interested in working with an organization committed to the integration of arts in education for special and mainstream education and in learning about efficient techniques to develop creativity and social skills in children and youngsters in safe and enriching environments can visit our Center for the Arts for All at San Gabriel School for the Deaf and join us in our mission.  Volunteers must be older than 16 years old.

1. Is this a non-profit organization?  Yes, registered and tax-exempt under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.  In the process of obtaining the federal tax-exemption 501(c)3.

2. Do you have private performances for companies or agencies?  Yes, our performances could be custom-made according to a client’s specific needs.  We can adjust to different budgets.

3. Do you train artists to become professionals?  No, we work with well trained professional or semi-professionals artists with or without disabilities in all disciplines.  We can refer artists with or without disabilities to other corporations who offer training to become professionals.

4. How does the company support itself?  The company conducts productions to raise money, receives government monies from proposals presented and receives donations from the private sector and individuals.  All donations can be deducted in their tax return forms.

5. Do you have professional collaborations with other corporations or individual artists?  Yes, we firmly believe in collaborating with other organizations and individuals and establishing healthy relationship that can help all parties grow and develop.

eclécticO Int., Inc. has been, for the past 6 years, the only organization in Puerto Rico providing access to artists and audiences with special needs, as well as ofering workshops to institutions, municipalities and general public about the urgency of creating universal accessibility in our art venues.
