The workshop held at the Museo de Arte de Ponce was the first dedicated to accessibility within a museum setting. It was organized for the staff working in different departments of the museum and all dealing with customers both with and without special needs. What was interesting about this workshop was that the museum already had in place a number of facilities and so the workshop was able to work with the staff further improving their knowledge on using the methods at their disposal to maximize the experiences of their customers.
This workshop also provided good feedback for the eclécticO Int., Inc. team, as it was the first with an audience in a professional setting working on a day-to-day basis with people needing all sorts of support. A topic of particular focus was the audio descriptions, something very important in the museum and how best to use it.
